Add a "whole word" match mode for Comment‑to‑DM trigger keywords
"Right now the Comment‑to‑DM trigger keywords only support 'Contains' and 'Exact match.' Contains matches the keyword inside other words (e.g. 'app' fires on 'happy,' 'apple,' 'application'), and Exact match only fires when the entire comment equals the keyword. There's no way to match a standalone word like 'app' when it appears inside a longer comment. The keyword field also trims spaces, so I can't fake a word boundary by adding spaces around the term. Could you add a 'whole word' / word‑boundary match mode so a keyword only triggers when it appears as its own word, regardless of case?"
You can drop that straight into the featurebase board, or paste it into the chat widget where Ana can route it. Want me to help with anything else on the automations while you're here — like finishing the Facebook and Instagram setups with Exact match or Contains?

PinnedHey Maddox, this is live now
New match mode: Whole word
A third match mode called Whole word is now available. With it, a keyword only fires when it stands on its own:
"app"triggers on:get the app"app"does not trigger on:happy,applicationMatching remains case-insensitive, so
APPandappboth work.Where to find it:
Inbox > Campaigns > Comment-to-DM → open the automation → select Whole word under Match mode.
Your existing automations stay on Contains and behave exactly as before; nothing changes unless you switch them over yourself.

Exclusion keywords
Comments containing any word you list here will never send the DM, even if a trigger keyword matches.
Useful if you prefer to stay on Contains and just block words like
happy.Optional typo tolerance on Whole word
When enabled, a keyword like
braincan also matchBrianorbrai.Try before you go live
There’s now a “Try a comment” box in the editor. Type a sample comment and it will tell you:
Whether it would send the DM
Which keyword matched
This lets you validate your setup before it goes live :)
