Google Callout Lifecycle

Please add full Google Ads Callout lifecycle support:

  • list/read existing callouts

  • update existing callouts

  • remove callouts

  • attach callouts at ad-group level

Currently create + campaign-level attach works.

We need full lifecycle management for AI-based Google Ads optimization.

Shipped and live. The full account-level callout lifecycle is now available on the Google Ads connection.

    • GET /v1/ads/accounts/callouts lists directly attached callouts.

    • POST /v1/ads/accounts/callouts creates them, up to 20 per request, 25 characters each.

    • PUT /v1/ads/accounts/callouts updates the text of an existing asset. Pass the assetResourceName from a list response plus calloutAsset.calloutText.

    • DELETE /v1/ads/accounts/callouts removes one by assetId.

Sitelinks and structured snippets have the same shape at /v1/ads/accounts/sitelinks and /v1/ads/accounts/structured-snippets.

Two things worth knowing. Assets are shared, so updating one changes every attachment that uses it. Reads are cached for ten minutes, and if the Google quota is exhausted you get the last successful read with stale: true rather than an error.

Verified end to end against a live Google Ads account today: create, list, update, delete, with the account confirmed clean afterwards.
