Larger file size upload!

Feature Request

For long form video as a Youtuber, we need even bigger file upload than 5Gb.

This will give Youtuber possibility to complete their full short & longform video workflows.

Optionally it could be direct download video link for larger files where in API call you could point the file from your own media servers or external providers like Vimeo etc.

    The alternative you suggest already works, with no size ceiling. mediaItems[].url accepts any publicly reachable HTTPS video URL (your own server, S3/R2, a CDN), and for YouTube we never buffer the file: videos over 500MB go through a background chunked upload (50MB at a time) straight into YouTube's resumable upload session, so a 20GB long-form master hosted on your side publishes fine today.

    The 5GB number only applies to files you upload to us, via POST /v1/media/presign or POST /v1/media, where it is a single-PUT storage limit rather than a publishing limit. Lifting it needs multipart presigned uploads, which we have not built yet, so we are leaving this request open to track that part.
