LinkedIn organization pages: follower demographics endpoint

Why
For B2B brands, the first question about a LinkedIn page is who follows it: industries, job functions, seniority, company sizes and regions. Today the API covers page reach and engagement, but not who the audience is. Industry and seniority breakdowns only exist for Ads, and those describe who saw the ads, not who follows the page.

Data source
LinkedIn's organizationalEntityFollowerStatistics, called without timeIntervals, returns lifetime follower counts by:

  • Country and region (followerCountsByGeoCountry, followerCountsByGeo)

  • Industry (followerCountsByIndustry)

  • Job function (followerCountsByFunction)

  • Seniority (followerCountsBySeniority)

  • Company size (followerCountsByStaffCountRange)

Each group comes with organic and paid counts. It uses r_organization_followers, which Zernio already requests and already calls for organic_followers_gained / paid_followers_gained.

Suggested design

  • GET /v1/analytics/linkedin/demographics?accountId=...&breakdown=country,industry,function,seniority,company_size

  • Response shaped like InstagramDemographicsResponse

  • A readable label for each URN (e.g. urn:li:function:8 → "Engineering"), ideally in a language chosen by the caller

  • Organic and paid counts kept separate, or at least their sum

  • Same errors as org-aggregate-analytics (412 for missing scopes, 403 if the member isn't an ADMINISTRATOR)

Nice to have
The same breakdowns for page visitors, from organizationPageStatistics.
