Native repost for Threads (reshare existing posts, not duplicates)

Right now the only way to bring a strong Threads post back into feeds is to publish a new copy with the same content. That creates a duplicate, splits engagement across two posts, and loses the likes, replies and reposts the original already earned.

Request: Add a native Threads repost option, so I can pick an existing post (by URL or from my published posts) and repost it, either immediately or scheduled.

Why it's feasible: The Threads API supports this directly. A post can be reposted by calling the POST /{threads_id}/repost endpoint with the post's ID, and the repost then appears under the Reposts tab on the user's Threads profile.

Use cases:

  • Resurfacing a top-performing post for followers in other time zones, or a few days later

  • Scheduling reposts of evergreen content as part of a content calendar

  • Agencies managing client accounts, where a client wants their best posts reshared rather than copied
