Reddit - Add warning or block Video posting

Hello!,
This request was based on my experience with the Reddit API via dashboard.

Would we be able to get a warning banner, or outright block posting if we are posting a video to reddit?

Miki was able to advise via support that this is because the reddit api does not support videos, but new users (myself included) may not know this until AFTER it has failed for them.

Would be nice for user experience “Reddit does not support Video posting with external tools” or something.

Thanks!

Update: the underlying issue here is resolved.

Reddit video posting is now fully supported natively, so videos upload to Reddit and render in its embedded player (with an optional custom poster, and a silent-clip videogif mode). Because video works, posts no longer fail the way that prompted this request, so a warning/block isn't needed. If a video ever can't be posted natively, it gracefully falls back to a link post rather than failing.

Details here: docs.zernio.com/platforms/reddit. Thanks for the request!

There’s actually a warning on youtube already that could be copied over to reddit for this too.

Youtube warns about missing video content, something similar on reddit would be nice “Video not supported”

    then below
“Reddit does not allow uploading video using external tools” or something like that would be nice!
