Sync Pinterest created ads into the dashboard

Today Zernio only knows the Pinterest campaigns it created itself. Campaigns, ad groups and ads built directly in Pinterest Ads Manager never appear in the Zernio dashboard or the API. GET /v1/ads, /v1/ads/campaigns and /v1/ads/tree return nothing for them, even with source=all. The docs describe source=all as "Zernio-created ads and those discovered from the platform's ad manager". That is how it works for Meta and Google, where externally created campaigns are discovered and synced with isExternal=true.

Request: bring Pinterest to parity with Meta and Google.

  1. Discover existing campaigns, ad groups and ads on a connected pinterestads ad account and sync them (isExternal=true), on connect and on the regular background sync.

  2. Include them in /v1/ads, /v1/ads/campaigns and /v1/ads/tree with the same fields as Zernio-created ones: status, budget, schedule, creative (pin id, image, link), and metrics plus the daily[] series when timeIncrement=1.

  3. Allow the same management actions on them as on Zernio-created campaigns (pause/resume, budget changes).

Why it matters: most advertisers already have a history in Pinterest Ads Manager before they connect. Without discovery, spend and performance reporting through Zernio is incomplete. Totals don't match Pinterest, and any dashboard or automation built on the API sees only a fraction of the account. We build reporting and budget automation on top of the Zernio API, and Pinterest is the one network where we can't show a customer their full account.

Nice to have: a manual "sync now" for the ad account, like POST /v1/posts/sync-external does for posts, so a campaign created in Ads Manager shows up within seconds instead of waiting for the next background pass.
