This shipped today. Set platformSpecificData.firstComment on a Threads target and it publishes right after the post, the same way it already works for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube.
Two details specific to Threads. A reply there is itself a Threads post, so it counts against the 250 posts a profile can publish per 24 hours. And with threadItems, the comment replies to the root of the chain, not the last item.
If the first comment fails, your post still publishes; we never fail the post over the comment. Verified end to end on a live account before shipping.
